Specialized Medical Program
The NH SANE Program operates the Specialized Medical Program to provide non-acute medical/forensic exams to child survivors of sexual abuse. These exams are tailored to each child’s physical, developmental, and emotional needs and designed to ensure the health and well-being of the child, reassure them that their body is okay, diagnose and treat any medical conditions, and provide written, photo, and/or video documentation of possible findings. Children are referred to these exams following a forensic interview at a child advocacy center. The Specialized Medical Program currently operates three sites in Laconia, Dover, and Nashua.
